The NACFTs mission is to promote excellence in cattle hoof care. Our membership is split into 3 main categories: Fully licensed Trimmers, Provisional Licensed Trimmers and an NACFT Member. We encourage every trimmer to progress through the trimmer pathway and attend regular Check Days and CPD, ensuring they are working to the highest possible standards to improve the health and welfare of the UK cattle herd.

Controlling lameness is key to ensuring the health, welfare and production standards of the UK dairy and beef herds.  We know that if a cow is lame her milk production will decline, thereby affecting your top line. By ensuring your cattle’s feet are in the best condition, you ensure your business is also in the best condition!
